Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an effective, problem-solving therapy that offers strategies to help you understand your conflicts, learn to manage challenges, and control and reduce worries.
CBT helps to identify and address negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviours which can not only lead to symptoms of depression and anxiety but also to increased stress at work and home.

The CBT toolkit can show you how to develop the ability to look at your challenges more objectively. By targeting and understanding your reactions, CBT can help you manage these situations and regain balance in the midst of difficult circumstances.

With CBT, you are able to take an active role in your own treatment, using self-help assignments and CBT tools between sessions to speed up the process of change.
The exercises are focused on identifying ways of thinking differently and unlearning unwanted reactions. If we determine that some CBT skill-building is a suitable part of your treatment, I will help you along with this process at your own pace, offering CBT tools in an environment of warmth and caring.
