Appointments & Fees

People generally see me weekly, to begin with, although this varies depending on the needs of the individual.

After the initial full session, we can determine together what schedule will be most effective.

Both new and current clients can book an appointment through the contact page or email me with any questions about the booking process.

New Clients: Phone Consultations

I typically speak with people on the phone before they book their sessions. Its purpose is to ensure we are a good fit in terms of my areas of expertise and your requirements.

This initial 15 minute phone consultation is free of charge.

Fees

$135 per 60-minute session

$185 per 90-minute session

After the initial paid session, a block of five
60-minute sessions can be purchased for $650. (prepaid).

Clients pay for their session by e-transfer, cheque, or cash on the day of the appointment
72 hours is required to cancel or re-book an appointment or a cancellation fee will be charged.
Clients receive a receipt for income tax purposes.
Psychotherapy may be claimed as a medical expense. While MSP does not cover the fees of a counsellor, some extended health benefit plans do.
I am presently a registered counsellor with Crime Victim Services (CVAP) Sunlife, ICBC, Arete, BCI and some Blue Cross Greenshield health benefit plans.
